Harmonics refers to a form of electrical distortion that can adversely impact power systems, equipment, and the overall quality supply. The presence non-linear loads, such as electronic devices, cause current waveform deviate from ideal sine wave, resulting in higher frequency currents are multiples fundamental frequency. These distortions lead several negative effects, reduced factor, increased energy losses, equipment overheating, electromagnetic interference. These, turn, lower system efficiency, increase consumption, escalate maintenance costs. Several approaches have been developed address adverse effects harmonics, use filters, capacitors, other reactive components. techniques aim minimize harmonic improve supply quality. This paper examines effectiveness 1kVAr detuned reactor mitigating systems filter reduces actively. It does so by monitoring content injecting counteracting cancel out frequencies, creating subtle "detuning" effect distortion. Detuned reactors find extensive application radio audio among fields.
